Discovery of Liquid Mulch
It all began in 2007 with an idea about how to make a biodegradable plastic film that solves a number of issues & problems for growers. While working with farmers and the Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association, I found that traditional films, whether or not they are degradable, are a hassle to work with. Seven years later Liquid Mulch came to be and we have been improving it ever since.
It is now the flagship product here at Advanced Bio Products with two main formulations: One for your garden and the other for your houseplants.

Our main product, Liquid Mulch, was developed over a period of seven years by our founder and polysaccharide chemist, Ruben Lenz, in cooperation with the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, Ontario Agri-Food Technologies, Ontario Corn Growers association, University of Guelph, Vineland Research Institute, local tree nurseries and many others.
