How to Use This Weekly Houseplant Maintenance Schedule

📌 Monday & Thursday (The Moisture Check)

  • The Problem: Watering the right amount is crucial to having beautiful plants, flowers, and fruit. Overwatering can cause root rot and the plants will die. Underwatering results in plants that do not grow, look sickly and they will eventually die.

  • What you need to do: Check if the soil is dry by touching the soil with your finger or by using a soil moisture meter. If it is dry, add just enough water by stopping when the first drops of water start to come out of the holes at the bottom of the pot.

  • If the soil is still moist, wait. Don’t add more water.

  • When to use the Natural Seaweed Fertilizer

    • When Monday or Thursday lands on a scheduled feeding week during the active growing season, mix our premium Natural Seaweed Fertilizer into your watering can to feed active root systems safely without chemical burn. 📌 Tuesday (The 1/4 Turn Rotation)

  • The Problem: Plants grow lopsided or lean awkwardly toward windows.

  • What you need to do: Rotate plant 1/4 turn clockwise. Rotating your potted plants regularly ensures that all leaves get equal access to light. This will produce balanced, symmetrical and full plants.

📌 Wednesday & Saturday (Grooming: Dead Leaves & Wilted Flowers)

  • The Problem: Plants with spent flowers and wilted leaves tend to produce fewer flowers. They also don’t look as beautiful as lush green plants that don’t have any wilted leaves.

  • What you need to do: Trim dead leaves and Cut any wilted flowers. Pruning helps plants to grow brand new, vibrant leaves and flowers.
