Discovery of Liquid Mulch
It all began in 2007 with an idea about how to make a biodegradable plastic film that solves a number of issues & problems for growers. While working with farmers and the Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association, I found that traditional films, whether or not they are degradable, are a hassle to work with. Seven years later Liquid Mulch came to be and we have been improving it ever since.

Our main product, Liquid Mulch, was developed over a period of 10 years by our polysaccharide chemist in cooperation with the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, Ontario Agri-Food Technologies, Ontario Corn Growers association, University of Guelph, Vineland Research Institute, local tree nurseries and many others.
